Direct Mail Planning
Reference 1. Request quote from Sales department sales@galleryllc.com(include list acquisition if necessary) Please have available or be prepared to discuss the following: ¨ Sample pieces ¨ Mailing list(s) ¨ Data processing requirements ¨ Material arrival date ¨ Requested drop date for mailing or shipping 2. Confirm quote with the sales department or your assigned Account Manager. Confirm requested drop date for you mailing. (Please note: an estimated turn around time of 6 days at Gallery.) Three days in data processing and three days in production with shipping or mailing on the following day, unless other arrangements have been pre-established or determined for your organization or a specific direct mail project. 3. Your list should arrive at Gallery as soon as possible but not less than six business days prior to your scheduled mail date. Please send your list via e-mail to the data processing department data.processing@galleryllc.com and cc your account manager or on disk or mag tape (1600BPI). Please label or clearly identify your disks or tapes being sent to Gallery with your company name and mailing description. 4. Confirm with your Account Manager the printed material arrival date. Scheduling in advance will help to reserve your mail processing time in production. 5. Postage is required in house 5 business days prior to your mail date unless other arrangements have been made. Your Account Manager will fax a postage request for each mailing. Postage checks should be made payable to Gallery, LLC, or if using your own permit, postage should be made payable to the Postmaster. 6. On a first time mailing with Gallery, payment of services is required up front unless a credit application has been completed and approved prior to the mail date. 7.
